The standout feature here is undoubtedly the emphasis on high-quality meats. As Xin Wang noted, “The all-you-can-eat is worth every penny,” making it clear that your value and satisfaction are priorities at Dada Shabu Shabu.
Complimenting the mouthwatering meats is an abundant salad bar, overflowing with items like shrimp, fried chicken, and Korean rice cakes. Teena Malicsi highlights how this spot is perfect for catching up with friends, especially given the diversity of ingredients to choose from, making each visit a unique culinary journey. I particularly enjoyed the thoughtfully organized space that ensures flow and cleanliness, as mentioned by reviewer Jeff Nguyen.
Wrapping up your meal at Dada Shabu Shabu is an indulgent treat that you can’t pass up: their famed shaved ice. It’s a sweet symphony that perfectly complements the savory dishes and leaves you feeling satisfied yet refreshed. With a fair price point for weekdays, as Rachael aptly observed, this dining destination delivers both quality and value.
In conclusion, Dada Shabu Shabu stands as a beacon for hot pot lovers. The array of choices, combined with excellent service and a vibrant dining atmosphere, guarantees a memorable experience. If you’re anywhere near Irvine, this spot is a must-visit for anyone eager to indulge in the delightful world of Shabu Shabu.
“ The food here is so good, and it's AYCE. Service is excellent. They have some hot and cold foods to put in your hot pot at the buffet table. Servers bring the other meats to you. You will love this place. ”
“ This is the best hot pot/ Shabu Shabu restaurant I’ve ever tried! The all you can eat is worth every penny. Everything is self-serve except for the meat, which the attentive servers brought out immediately. The service is amazing. They have several options of the meat but the top blade cut and lamb is a must! The salad bar has an amazing amount of selection to choose from ranging from shrimp, fried chicken, Korean rice cake, and much more. It’s 34 per person for all the food! Completely worth it. ”
“ Food is good. I like how they let you self serve your own broth where you can pick at the food court. Fried chicken is good. Having shaved ice the best part after a meal. They keep the court nicely organized. Servers are always on task to check up with you and clean your area of unwanted dishes. Its cramped but I can see that is to control traffic to be on task keeping the area clean. ”
“ This is my go-to Shabu spot! It's the perfect place for me to catch up with friends from Orange and LA County, especially since I'm based in San Diego County. They have an awesome variety of ingredients and meats to choose from. I fell in love with Shabu when I was stationed in South Korea, and it’s been one of my favorites ever since! ”
“ Great quality meats and lots of vegetables to choose from. Staff is very quick with clearing plates. The prepared foods are pretty good too. Fair price for a weekday AYCE lunch. ”
“ The meat quality is good with various topping types ”
“ My coworker brought me here for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised! We were seated right away, the staff were very welcoming and sweet, and the food was delicious! The restaurant is kept very clean and neat. The food bar was fully stocked! They had a variety of flavors/seasonings for your broth, fresh veggies/tofu, and seafood, cooked items including fried chicken, fried rice, short rib patties, tempura, and lastly, they have a yummy shaved ice station for dessert! We chose options 1-3 for meat, which was all beef, but they have chicken and pork options available as well. Everything was so delicious! I'll definitely be coming back here. This was the best hot pot l've had! ”
“ Dada Shabu Shabu is cost-effective. Meat quality and taste are excellent. Sweet shrimp, fried chicken, and fried rice for side-dish taste good. For dessert, shaved ice with fruits is really good! ”
